Inspired by the works of H.R. Giger. I love his use of texture and bio/mechanical type details. I went with some free form textures over a geometric design to make this unique sterling silver ring.
 
The Opal features ever colored except for purple. Truly a stunning specimen. I had cracked the opal years ago, and set this aside until I had some idea of what to do with it. I thought setting it with a silver version of the Japanese technique of Kintsugi, using gold to fuse broken pieces. I thought silver would bring out the colors in this best.
